This sub-project of the open-access Royal Inscriptions of Babylonia online (RIBo) Project [/ribo/] is intended to present up-to-date editions of the officially commissioned texts of the Persian/Achaemenid Empire (559-330 BC). At present, "Babylon 8" contains only three monolingual Akkadian inscriptions of Cyrus II (including the famous "Cyrus Cylinder"). In time, we plan to include other official texts of Persian rulers, including the Bisitun Inscription.
