Only one official inscription from the reign of Ninurta-nādin-šumi is presently known.
Two bronze daggers in the Foroughi Collection bear a short Akkadian possession inscription stating that these objects belonged to Ninurta-nādin-šumi, "king of the world, king of Babylon, king of Sumer (and) Akkad."
