Luqu

The earliest of the cohort commanders of the crown prince was Luqu. His documents, one slave purchase and two silver loans, date to the early part of the reign of Assurbanipal in 659, 648, and 645*. In his documents, he buys a woman and her daughter for 1 mina 8 shekels (no. 24), and lends the sum of 10 shekels of silver (no. 26) and an unknown amount of silver (no. 25). The total value of silver in his transactions is 1 mina and 18 shekels.
