The few fragments of Tiglath-Pileser's land grants (nos. 14-17) do not contribute much to our knowledge of the genre except that they seem to represent a continuation of the tradition of Adad-nerari. None has the royal seal preserved, and neither the name and position of the grantee nor the reason for the grant survives in any of them. No. 14 is probably a private grant, but the nature of no. 15 (to which nos. 16 and 17 may belong) is uncertain.
