Inscriptions on Tablets, Part 6 (text nos. 194-218)

Thirty-eight clay tablets unearthed from Nineveh's citadel mound (modern Kuyunjik) contain copies of inscriptions of Ashurbanipal that pertain to his activities in Assyria, outside the administrative capital Nineveh, namely Aššur (eight tablets), Tarbiṣu (four tablets), Arbela (one tablet), and Ḫarrān (five tablets). The best-known of these are the "Large Letter to the God Aššur" (text no. 194) and "Large Egyptian Tablets" (text no. 207).
