1Note that the inclusion of a-na-ku “I” in line 3 is grammatically awkward in inscriptions beginning with É.GAL mdEN.ZU-ŠEŠ.MEŠ-eri-ba “Palace of Sennacherib.”
2lu-li-mu er-šú “wise prince”: The translation follows AHw p. 562 and CDA p. 185. The basic meaning of lulīmu is “stag.”
3The translation assumes that li-i-tu ù da-na-nu ša i-na tu-kul-ti daš-šur EN-ia “all the mighty victories, with the support of the god Aššur, my lord” appeared in the line now missing immediately before rev. 1´.
