(1) Nabopolassar, king of Babylon, protégé of the gods Nabû and Marduk, the one who provides for Esagil and Babylon, the one who built the embankment of the Araḫtu River for the god Marduk, his lord. O embankment, speak favorable things about him to the god Marduk.
