Seal impressions on clay objects — cuneiform tablets, ring bullae, and cretulae (clay tags) — provide a wealth of information about the persons whose names may or may not be preserved on the media. Study of the iconography enriches the understanding of the community of actors and the cultural milieu in Hellenistic Babylonia.
