1: Since here as well as in the similar inscription A 08-40 the ruler's name is not followed by a patronym it remains unclear whether Argišti I is the author of the inscription . However , as has been argued by Salvini (CTU I : 366-367 and CTU V : 236 ) the paleography and especially the shape of the characters NI (as well as Ú in A 08-40 ) point to a date prior to Sarduri's II reign.
2: The word uhini which also occurs in A 08-40 likely denotes a building . See also CTU I : 366 and CTU V : 236.
3: The clause is likely to be interpreted as a verbless clause.
