1: Since the ruler's name is not followed by a patronym it remains unclear whether Argišti I is the author of the inscription . However , as has been argued by Salvini (CTU I : 366 and CTU V : 236 ) the paleography and especially the shape of the characters NI and Ú point to a date prior to Sarduri's II reign.

2: Since the inscribed field is limited by engraved lines at the top and the bottom the text seems to be complete although its content suggests otherwise . Thus , the ergative Argišti=še in line 4 should be followed a transitive verb which obviously is not the case . As A 08-41 indicates , the word uhini likely denotes a building . It is therefore likely that the verb šid=u=ni "he built " or sim . had erroneously been left out.Cf . also CTU I : 366 and CTU V : 236.
